I will not have the ability to attend any more full events this year, but Mac asked me if I would contribute some MOCs. If I were to lend something to the group for the this trip, what theme are you looking for and what is the dead line to get it into an attendee's hands to take with?

Thanks,
~Mark

I can do three tables cramped, or four with stuff spread out. I should also have two extra 48x48 plates complete for half-a-base look (is surprise).

I don't plan on having anything standalone, so I will contribute my usual stuff to the train layout. How much space stuff I bring will depend on whether Mike and I feel we have enough people committed to going to man a full DelVaLUG layout.

It's actually the train layout in trouble this time. Most of the people going and supplying MOCs are spacers. Hopefully Rob and a few others can come to help out Cale. Once the layouts are built, there might be enough people to watch everything. We only need 3 at the Del Val tables to babysit.

I'm planning to go, and Alison would like to go with me, but there's a chance she won't make it. Sshe might have to back out later if she has too much to do for school--would that be a problem?

I could fill 2 to 8 tables, probably. Should I aim to fill a lot of tables? Depending on whether I should aim high or low, I'll think about the exact things that I might bring and come up with a more concrete answer.

Nate, don't forget your sandpocalypse subway tunnel, or a portion thereof. I would like to display my Sand Bank with that.

I actually plan to de-apocify it if I can before then for use in the town layout. It wouldn't be a problem to leave the piece that goes under your bank as-is for the time being, though.

Honestly right now I'm not sure we can do a train layout. So I wouldn't plan on de-apocofying it quite yet.

Well I need to do it regardless. I wasn't planning on displaying it as it is ever again, so I guess the issue is moot.

Plan on a 20x20 train layout. I think there are enough of us coming that we can set that up. It sounds like Chris can do a munch of MOC tables as well.

I'll narrow down my answer and say I could fill 6 to 8 tables. Again, it depends if people think it's better to bring as much as possible or to keep it under control...

Bring as much as you can. Worse case scenario, some of it doesn't get unpacked.

I gave Mike dimensions for a PennLUG train layout so as of now we're still going to have trains. I'll get a preliminary plan up soon.

Preliminary requirements are ready to be emailed as soon as I hear back from Steel City. It's looking really good. Thanks in advance to everyone coming to set up. I know it's a hard weekend, but it's worth it. Just remember the fact that previous Pittsburgh KidsFest helped with our trailer.

Ok, we got a response back from Jim yesterday. LME has only given us an area of 20x20 for the train layout and 20x20 for the space layout. This cuts our actual proposed display area by about half. We need about 6 people (8 max) to efficiently run the displays and still come out on top. Here's the current list of those coming for the entire event so far.

Mac
Cale
Nate
Francis
Chris & Alison
Brian

If you have space MOCs you would like displayed please bring them to Cale's house in November. Unfortunately due to the cut backs, there won't be room for a good castle layout like we wanted.

With 8 total spaces for compensation the clubs should make out pretty well from that event.

I could be there from Thursday evening (late) through Sunday (late) but it looks like you have your 8. I've already gotten approval for time off if you want/need my assistance. I'd love to go and help but I don't want to be an unwanted drain on the income.
