Starbucks
For my third week of building, I made a Starbucks:

I had a hard time making the "Starbucks Coffee" banner match Lego green. I even tried scanning a green brick in Photoshop. I guess without precise color calibration between the scanner, monitor and printer, that's not going to be possible.
I was planning to make a larger apartment building this week, but I'll be short on time, so I'll make something 16-wide again.

Re: Starbucks
The closest you can get in one shot with Lego color matching is to grab the CMYK value for Lego green from Peeron or somewhere else where the color chart is posted and use that for making your sticker. I take my stickers to a copy shop and get them to trial and error it with me, holding the printed sticker up against a brick of the same color, making adjustments and doing it again. It sucks, but there's no easy way to do it that I know of.
Re: Starbucks
Thanks. The bigger apartment building I'm planning will be a U shape with a courtyard/garden in the front.
I tried using the RGB values from the Peeron chart initially. I wonder if CMYK would have worked better?
Just layering all those 1x2 dark tan plates in between the brown bricks definitely gave me more appreciation for the buildings Nate and Chris have done entirely in plates. My fingers hurt after building this one.
