Brownstone
My latest city building is a brownstone townhouse:

With BrickFair rapidly approaching, my goal is to build at least one new building a week for the next month. Wish me luck!

Very nice Rob. So I guess we're going to need more street sections.

Re: Brownstone
You can probably achieve that one building a week goal if you stay away from Mr. Brownstone.
This looks pretty sweet. I wish I could make buildings, but it seriously is not as easy as you guys make it look.

Thanks. I already built two T intersections and 2 straight streets. I'll work on a few more this month. I just want to create enough buildings to line the intersections of the back street we talked about doing. (Are we still planning to do that?)

Thanks. City stuff is easy - it's usually just a box, and three of the walls are usually plain anyways. I always thought space and trains were harder.
Re: Brownstone
While building design is simple in concept, it takes a but of skill to make them loom real, unique, detailed. With space ships(if your creating one from your mind) you can fudge things and slap random bits on. Building spaceships that already have a design can be a real challenge.rgb wrote:peterlmorris wrote:This looks pretty sweet. Re: Brownstone
Wow, well done on this! it has a nice old style feel and the dark green windows go really well with the over-all structure. Well done mate, and definitely keep bricking!
