The 20th Century Limited

Post  Shuppiluliumas on Mon Jan 17, 2011 12:29 am

So I've been puttering around with modelling the later 20th Century Linited for months now, but over the last few weeks I actually got some things done. Here's an observation car and a dining car:

2 more cars are built but don't have their pinstriping or stickers yet, and 2 more need to be built. Only then will I start on the engines.

Absolutely awesome Nate. The finished train is going to look killer.

Now I need to build a Broadway Limited so we can recreate the famous races near Englewood Illinois where the NYC and Pennsylvania RR tracks paralelled each other.

Is this the train you had at the meeting at KC's house? It looks great. Good job with the curved end.

Don't you mean "locomotives?"

I mean, I'm no trainhead or anything... Smile

Also, needs more rocket launchers.

Every train needs more weapons. Case in point, here's a Thomas the Tank Engine toy my parents found for my son at a flea market with a popup-robot that has guns for hands:

That is just wrong on so many levels.
