White Castle
Finished up my latest building - a White Castle restaurant. This is also my first building with a complete interior.

Re: White Castle
Looks great! You need to bring your 2 buildings to a meeting so we can see them up close.

I hope this is destined for the layout, as it is awsome.

Re: White Castle
Yes, very nice. Though I have to ask, why White Castle? There's a noticeable absence of them in PA. hehe

Re: White Castle
What can I say? I've been craving White Castle burgers lately (and by "lately", I mean "always")
It's an idea I've wanted to do for awhile. It's also not a mainstream fast food place you see everywhere, so there's something more amusing about seeing one in Lego.
I was tempted to do it at the size of Joel's gas station, complete with parking lot and drive-thru, but I didn't have the space and probably not enough pieces either.

Well, I think it's a great likeness for its size. Instantly recognizable for sure.

Re: White Castle
I like the detail in it. The colors are true to form of a real white castle. Definately an excellent moc. Awesome work!

Re: White Castle
Thanks!
I definitely tried to make it look like White Castles I saw growing up in the 80s:

The newer ones don't look as interesting. I did copy the blue stripes from the newer style, since a plain white exterior looked a little boring.
The interior was as best as I could do from memory and what pieces I had. Sometime I would like to replace the floor with 2x2 white tiles instead of the 1x8 tiles I had.

Re: White Castle
I really like it! And if there's one thing I miss from my time living in Philadelphia, it's probably White Castle.
